Tom has served on the Boards of the Greater Flint Hall of Fame, The Whaley Home, and various state and national sports broadcasting organizations. But none of his community service has aroused his passion like helping the students at Montrose high school learn the fine art of sports broadcasting. His students have been recognized nationally with prestigious awards of excellent.
